Educated philanthropy is WORKING in our community, thanks to our Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation members.

In May, we awarded nine new pooled-fund grants totaling $220,000 to bring our total charitable investment to over $6.1 million since 2002.  This achievement was only possible with the membership’s generosity and commitment to IWCF.

Since IWCF invests in projects serving a broad spectrum of Idahoans, it is incumbent upon us to get a variety of voices at our IWCF table in order to understand our grantees’ needs and to widen our sphere of influence as philanthropy advocates. We seek members from across southwestern Idaho, believing diversity adds strength and purpose to our giving.

Membership Opportunities

There are two membership options to choose from.

$625 Annual Membership Contribution: donate $500 to IWCF to the pooled-fund grants and pay $125 toward IWCF operations to total $625 annually and vote to award pooled-fund grants.

$1,125 Annual Membership Contribution: donate $500 to IWCF to the pooled-fund grants, contribute an additional $500 for allocation to your Individual Grant Designations to further support our local community and increase IWCF’s impact for good and pay $125 toward IWCF operations to total $1,125 annually and vote to award pooled-fund grants. This membership option has a payment plan opportunity available for the 2022-2023 renewal year (2023 voting year) starting February 2022 and going through January 2023. The cost is $100/month for a total of $1,200. 

We also encourage you to enrich your own personal IWCF experience by:>

  • Getting involved on a committee or short-term project
  • Attending an education and social event
  • Inviting one new member to join IWCF to grow our giving – we don’t fundraise, we member raise!
