This new exhibit will educate visitors about how birds of prey provide early warning signs for identifying environmental threats to humans.
Boise Bicycle Project: Commuter Work and Ride Program $12,000
BBP’s “Work and Ride” program is designed to make it possible for adults and teens to receive bicycle repair, equipment and training to commute safely to work, school and essential daily activities.
Create Common Good: STIR Transforming Lives through Culinary Training $25,000
CCG prepares refugees for employment, while providing the community with gourmet food products and catering. IWCF funding will support self sufficiency programs for this vulnerable population through job placement in the foodservice industry.
Mercy Housing: NW Upcycled Playgrounds $25,000
This project creates two eco-friendly play spaces onsite of Mercy Housing NorthwestIdaho’s developments, engaging children of the low to moderate income properties they serve in the building process. All equipment will be recycled from waste materials.
Mountain Home Senior Center Inc: Mountain Home Senior Center $19,285
The Mountain Home Senior Citizens building was donated in 1984 by MHAFB. Consisting of 2 barracks, the building had all original amenities and needed better insulation, new windows, doors, and a new furnace.
