What is IWCF - Idaho Women's Charitable Foundation

When we give together, we strengthen communities. IWCF provides our members opportunities to learn, thoughtfully give, and make a positive impact together throughout Southwest Idaho. We’ve been doing this for 25 years.

What We Do

Each year, IWCF members contribute to the Grants Pooled Fund. We learn about critical community needs and have the opportunity to participate in the grant application review process. Finally, we vote to determine the organizations who receive our funding. Members may also direct an individual gift to causes that matter personally to them.

We are thrilled to present our 25th anniversary celebration, ”A Legacy of Giving – 25 Years and Beyond”, and we hope that you will join us. Our half-day celebration programming will include educational sessions on the state of the nonprofit sector, charitable giving strategies and techniques at any level, and observations from successful local foundations. Following these sessions, we will gather for a luncheon to honor our current and past members, and current and past grantees. Keynote speaker Rhoda L Altom will share her giving experiences and opportunities she has found to create change, and we’ll all get to experience the excitement of awarding grants–live during the event

Our Impact

IWCF has funded almost $3.9 million in 158 pooled-fund grants across Southwest Idaho and over $3.1 million in individual gifts, for a total of over $7 million in giving since 2001.
